Engagement that Enthralls
The Honda Unicorn was the first motorcycle offering from the Japanese bikemaker in the Indian market. It was the first mass produced motorcycle to be offered with a monoshock suspension in India. Ever since its launch, the Unicorn has been a hugely popular model in the 150cc segment and has clocked decent sales numbers. Two other 150cc offerings in the form of the Honda CB Dazzler and CB Trigger were launched after it but both the bikes couldn’t achieve the same success. But with the Unicorn being on sale for almost a decade without any serious update, Honda decided to replace it and for this purpose introduced the Unicorn 160.
CB Unicorn offers perfect balance of pickup and mileage. It delivers Super Mileage through its famed 4-stroke Honda engine, cutting edge technologies like Multi-Mapping CDI, Tumble Flow Combustion Chamber, Roller Rocker arm, and a Classy Aerodynamic Body. This engineering masterpiece with international design appeal, guarantees to quench thirst for motorcycle frenzies with all its stunning features.
The new motorcycle carries forward the same design language of its predecessor with its neutral lines to attract the mature buyers. Having said that, there are some neat touches in the form of the fuel tank extensions, 3-D Honda logo and H-shaped LED tail lamp which is the standout design detail. Switch gear quality is standard affair with decent quality but the engine kill switch has been given a miss, which is just unacceptable at this price point. The instrument console is all-digital one with a neat layout and is easy to read while in motion.
