Started in 2006, the Emirates Integrated Telecommunications company or DU is a Dubai-based telecom operator that provides mobile and fixed telephony, broadband connectivity and IPTV services to people, homes and businesses all over the UAE. It also provides carrier services, a data hub, Internet exchange facilities and satellite services for broadcasters.
The company is headquartered in Al Salam Tower in Dubai Media City. This office is supported by four other offices in Dubai and Abu Dhabi as well as a call centre in Fujairah and several warehouses across the country. DU reaches out to its 7.24 million mobile customers through a network of over 52 DU shops, more than 10,000 authorised dealers and the e-shop.

The company claims to have more than 6.5 million mobile customers, 555,000 fixed line subscribers, 180,000 home services subscribers and over 70,000 business subscribers. DU’s annual revenue exceeds AED 10 billion.

It achieved good revenue growth and healthy levels of profitability driven by its strategic focus on higher value segments of the market and greater operational efficiency.

DU won ‘Honorary Customer Delight Award’ from The Secretariat of the Middle East & North Africa Customer Delight Award and the Emirates Environmental Group (EEG) Award for recycling the maximum quantity of paper.
